Rev. Bobby Wright, Associate Minister at Piney Wood Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, has been confirmed to be the Guest Speaker for the month of January.

Brief Resume’ of Rev. Dr. Bobby Wright

 

• He is a native of Bertie County.

• He graduated from Bertie High School

• He received his BS degree in Business Admin. from Morgan State University, Baltimore, MD.

• He received his graduate certificate in Industrial Admin. From GMI School of Engineering in Flint, Michigan.

• He received his Master’s in Biblical Studies from Grace Bible College.

• He received his Doctorate of Ministry from Grace Bible College and Theological Seminary.

• He received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the president of USA in 2015.

• He owned and operated a Sears Dealership in Ahoskie for many years.

• He serves as Chaplain of ECU Community Health Hospital.

• He serves on the Religious Affairs board of the Hertford County NAACP. He also serves as 2nd Vice President of NAACP.

• He is married to Kathleen Ward Wright.

• They have two children, Brian (Larisha) and Valarie (Malcolm).

• He has five unbelievable grandchildren and one great grandchild

• He is a licensed ordained Minister.

• He is the former Pastor of Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Robersonville, NC
